What do you have to do to install the June CTP of SQL Server 2005 on a computer that already has installed the VS2005 on it?

Do you want to get the Books-On-Line, and other management tools for SQL Server 2005? Well you won't get them by doing a standard install because the SQL Server Express 2005 gums up the works.

Don't try just removing the SQL Server Express, that won't help.

I finally got it properly installed when I removed everything but the SQL Native Client. Make sure you remove the setup files - I think that is the culprit.

The fact that SQL Server 2005 still won't install and replace SQL Server Express in the June CTP, after even the Beta 2 had this problem - is, well, irritating!

Oh, if you reinstall - don't forget to clean out your Data directory of the Reporting services .mdf files from previous installs, if you plan to install Reporting services! Otherwise you'll have to start the install all over again.
